Construction of Phu Cam Cathedral began , in 1963 and w as halted in 1975 before completion of the bell tower. It is the eighth church to be built on this site since 1682 and the Hue diocese, which is based here, nopes eventually to f ind the funds to complete the structure. Phu Cam Ca th edral is at 20 D Doan H im Trinh, at the southern end of D Nguyen Truong To. Masses ar; held at 5 am and 6.45 pm from Monday to Saturday and at 5 and 7 am and 2 and 7 pm on Sunday.
