St Xavier Church

Ttis Catholic church was built around 1915. From the outside it looks derelict, but the inside is well main­tained and has a functioning electric organ.

Realise that this is not a tourist attract ion as such, but an activ e place of worship. There is no admission charge, but you might want to make a small donation to help maintain the plac e - they could us e it.

St Xavier Church is just south of the Binh Minh Hotel on D Nguyen Tri Phuong. You can ask to be let in at the building at the rear. Some of the caretakers speak French, though not much English.
